A Louis XV period commode in solid walnut. It opens with two drawers in the front and rests on four cabriole legs ending in sabots. The lower rail is carved with a large shell motif, a typical example of provincial work from the Rhône Valley. A working key is included for both drawers. Bronze mounts. Waxed finish.
