This Louis XV Period Cherry Wood Commode was hand made ca 1765. Typically these French Provincial Commodes were made of Walnut, but in rare cases like this one they are made of much more rare Cherrywood. The graceful cabriole legs are hand carved. The top opens up to reveal an original inset mirror and the sides open up for additional storage.
