Beautiful Louis XVI solid mahogany and mahogany veneer chest of drawers with two drawers in the front, concealing the central rail and forming a single rectangle surrounded by a half-round brass rod. This furniture is furnished with four bronze handles surrounding in the upper part a discreet bronze entrance accompanied by its key. The lock in perfect working order blocks the two drawers. The drawers have oak bottoms and sides. Each one has a bottom composed of two panels with a central cross piece in the middle for a better support. On each side of this chest of drawers we find a foot in projection and with a cut-off fluting at two thirds ending in a gadroon. The lower part of the foot ends very simply in a sheath. The sides of this piece of furniture are decorated with a half-round rod of the same shape as the front. The rear feet also have the same finish as the front ones. The four legs end in a square brass shoe. This Louis XVI chest of drawers has a beautiful white veined anthracite marble. This one has angles and a back in projection.
