A Louis XV style bombé commode in solid walnut, mid-20th century. The serpentine front opens with three large molded drawers. Rounded uprights terminate in richly carved, cabriole legs. Beautifully ornamented patinated bronze handles and keyhole escutcheons. A shaped lower rail adorned with a central carved motif. The molded top follows the curve of the front. The walnut has a beautiful, warm patina that highlights the wood grain. An elegant and decorative piece that would be equally at home in a bedroom, a classic setting, or a country chic interior.
