mid 20th century mahogany marble top commode circa 1960. good quality chest of drawers in the rococo taste beautiful red and white marble top which is loose fitted. single drawer below the top surface with 2 ring handles, brass moulding and a decorative lions head to the centre. drop down front to reveal a further 2 fitted drawers. decorated profusely with cast brass swags. further brass moulding to the sides standing on turned feet with brass mounts. ideal for use in multiple rooms around the home. good rich colour, very minor surface marks from use.
