Elegant Italian chest of drawers or sideboard attributed to Paolo Buffa, crafted in the 1950s. Made from fine amboyna wood with warm, patinated tones, this chest features a gently contoured front and six drawers adorned with refined brass handles, framed by double moldings. The protruding, sabre-shaped legs are decorated with brass sabots; the black glass top is finely shaped at the front edges and finished with a rear frame. The piece has been recently restored by a skilled artisan and is presented in excellent condition, ready for use and suitable for sophisticated interiors. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
