Chic archetypal architectural modernist pair of mid century Bachelors Chests, made by the Grand Rapids Chair Co, designed by Herbert Ten as part of the Sligh Furniture Cross Country series, circa 1950/60's. Each chest has four louvered drawers, creating both a sophisticated and modernist look, with ample storage space. Both dressers are structurally sound and sturdy, both are fully functional, both show cosmetic wear, one shows significant veneer damage along the bottom side edge. Offered and priced as a pair, selling in as found condition.
