A fine English chest of drawers of walnut and oak from the Queen Anne period, circa 1710, featuring a moulded top of beautiful figured burl walnut, above a frieze of two short drawers and three long, graduated drawers. The drawers are adorned with period-appropriate decorative brass escutcheons and pendant pull handles. The piece is veneered throughout in richly figured burr walnut, with paneled oak sides, displaying excellent color and patination. The chest standing on bun feet.
