Russel Wright designed furniture lines for many companies, such as Conant Ball, beginning in the early 1930s through 1950s. His minimalist perspective of design became popular as an informal lifestyle. Made of solid maple, this Russel Wright Star Dust dresser features lines that are softened by rounded edges. Each of the five drawers slide out easily with a wide groove under each drawer face that serves as a pull. The Wright-designed tallboy was sanded down completely and finished with a tinted lacquer in the spirit of the original color. * please see "515 Star Dust" stamp, a Russel Wright line of bedroom furniture, in the close-up photo
