Pair of painted 19th century Swedish chest of drawers circa 1890. Good quality pair of commodes which are painted in a light grey scheme. Slightly wider than the normal, rectangular tops, each with canted corners and moulded edge. Each fitted with 3 drawers of equal proportions and fitted with later ring handles and escutheon plates. Channeled detailing to the canted front sides. Each raised on 4 tapered legs. Ideal for use in multiple rooms around the home. Later paint which has become faded and worn through in places. Minor none structural age splits to top surface and sides. Drawers run straight and true. Ready for everyday use.
