19th century Swedish tiger birch chest of drawers circa 1870. Stunning 4 drawer chest veneered in a tiger birch which gives it's striking finish. Slightly over-sailing top with molded edge and rounded front corners. Chest is fitted with 4 drawers of equal proportions which open on the key. It is normal for Scandinavian furniture of this period not to have handles or knobs, but could be retro fitted if desired. Beaded edge fitted in-between each drawer. Raised on 4 shaped block feet. Areas of restoration to woodwork to bottom drawer and each lower side, this has been done in near matching timber which wasn't easy to source. Expected minor surface marks and fading. Completely re-polished by hand in our workshop and ready for everyday use.
