Gorgeous, weathered Japanese Kimono chest of drawers from the Taishō period (1912-1926). This chest features nine drawers, each adorned with metal handles on the front and sides. What sets this chest apart is its ease of transportation, thanks to the extendable metal elements that allow a carrying bar to be inserted. The tansu is in good and functional condition, showcasing beautiful weathered and grained wood. Unlike most Japanese furniture, this chest weighs a fairly substantial 40 kg.
