A lovely, simple chest of drawers in solid walnut with three drawers. The top is straight with ogee edges and rounded corners at the front. The drawers are made of white wood, dovetailed, with walnut fronts and two metal knob handles. The lower frieze is slightly scalloped. The front legs are cabriole. The sides are paneled wood, solid walnut. This is a piece of fine quality furniture from the mid-20th century. This chest of drawers was originally located in a small village house in the south of France. The drawers open and close smoothly and easily, making it suitable for everyday use. Interior drawer dimensions: 67 cm wide, 14 cm high, 36 cm deep.
