18th century Country French painted end table features tailored lines rendered from solid planks and posts of old-growth oak, with just a little carved detail in the tapered legs for visual interest. A single drawer provides convenient storage, accessed with a turned pull. The slightly distressed painted finish lends a light-colored softness to the table, making it ideal for today's more casual decors. Such hand-crafted tables were created from local materials using techniques handed down from generation to generation with what would be considered today primitive tools.
