An Italian pair of wood-carved pedestal side tables, with new marble tops, from the 19th century. These antique accent tables from Italy, each feature a newer marble top (round in shape with beveled edges) which is presented upon a 19th century pedestal base, carved in a stacked triangular design with fluted and acanthus motif, and raised upon three paw-carved feet. The wood has a silvery finish over taupe/grey. The marble tops come off, making for greater ease in transport and installation. These Italian 19th century carved-pedestal tables will make a wonderful pair of side tables, adding architectural interest and texture, flanking a seating arrangement.
