A magnificent near pair of antique Italian architectural salvaged elements, now repurposed and fashioned as one-of-a-kind tables / stands! 19th Century or earlier, Italy, most likely Venetian / Veneto region, hand carved polychrome painted sculptural corinthian column capital exterior building elements almost certainly depicting a Baroque interpretation of Medusa, having spiral scroll volutes, acanthus leaf carvings, figural ancient mask face on two sides, floral accents, with square shaped faux limestone wooden slab top, raised on integral molded stepped base. Finished on all four sides, showcasing beautifully aged warm mellow patina, original faded polychrome decoration, and distinctive worn weathered naturally distressed chippy paint finish that can only be acquired over very long periods of time! Dimensions (approx): Each: 17" High, 18"W Wide 17.5" Deep Condition: Good authentic antique condition with original patina. Wear commensurate with age, architecture use, handling, and outdoor exposure. Structurally sound. Faded worn weathered finish. Chippy paint and wood losses, including sizeable hole in one side. Sturdy, stable. Full of unique antique character, elegant rustic charm, whimsical warmth, depth, and rich historical interest!
