An exquisite chrome and glass etagere designed by the Design Institute of America, circa 1980's (unmarked). The top part can slide partially to the side, revealing the nesting portion below. 6 glass shelves in upper portion. 4 glass shelves and 3 record/book compartments in lower portion (there is a missing piece of glass in the pictures but this has been replaced). A fantastic piece, highly coveted and rare in this chrome finish. When pushed together 48"W x 72"H x 18"D. Lower portion measures 46.5"W x 26"H x 18"D. Upper portion cannot stand without the support of the lower section.
