An unusually graceful American Sheraton Pembroke table of exceptionally finely figured mahogany. The leaves of serpentine form along with the turned and reeded legs indicate a likely New York origin. The single drawer has a handsome brass knob. Drawer and leaves function smoothly. Very attractive smooth finish. Typical signs of age: some irregularities, separations in the grain, light wear/light ink stains on the top, good condition over all. Ca. 1820. H: 28 ½ W: 22 ¼ D: 35 ½ Width with leaves fully extended is 45 ½“, each leaf measures 12 ½ “ at its deepest point.
