Vintage extension table made in Italy and attributed to Peter Maly for Tonon c, 1990. Light cerused wood top with 19-inch extension leaf. The table is supported by a sculptural black metal base composed of cylindrical supports rising from a circular plinth. The contrast between the pale wood top and the dark industrial base creates a sophisticated, contemporary look that works equally well in minimalist, modern, or transitional interiors. Unmarked apart from hardware marked "Made in Italy".
