This refectory-style table has a simple plank top bearing a hammered texture (whether by age & use or its handmade nature) over robust lyre legs decorated with intricate carvings for an exciting profile from every angle. Spanning the width are hand-forged iron rods that bypass each other to connect each leg to the underside of the tabletop. At each (short) end one finds iron brackets that the removable leaves slide into, adding 36” to the width. Cleaned and polished with a paste wax this monumental table is ready for your interior.
