Pierre Chapo, born 1927-1987 Chapo studied architecture at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Chapo had his design studio in Clamart near Paris, and later opened La Galerie Chapo in Paris, where he exhibited his work. - Very rare T14 dining table made of solid elm - Oiled surface - Dimensions: 150x85cm, tabletop thickness: 5cm - The special feature is the two 40cm extension leaves, giving the table a maximum length of 230cm (the extension leaves have approximately the same clear dimension as the upper edge of the tabletop - the extension leaves are 2.5cm thick, making them slightly thinner than the tabletop, which makes them easier to handle during assembly due to the reduced weight). This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
