The edge design of this “pie crust “ look is unusual with its series of repeated serrations towards the outer edge.Initially it looks a fairly rudimentary style but on closer examination you see the simplicity but harmonious incorporation of how I remember how my mother used a pronged tableware fork to make the indentations in the pastry edge of apple-pie ….one cannot but admire the simplicity of it all.
