Circa 1790-1810 American oval pembroke table. Holly or box drawer stringing and original brasses. Poplar secondary wood. Raised on graceful square, tapered legs. Provenance: Valdemar (Val) Jacobsen Antiques, one of America's legendary American antique furniture specialists. This table has an old refinishing (possibly by Val) with the runners rebuilt and the rear edge of the drawer bottom restored.
