This table, designed by Alain Richard (stamp present under the tabletop) and made in the 1950s, perfectly illustrates the designer's philosophy: simplicity and functionality above all. We were instantly captivated by the simple beauty of the beechwood, the extensions cleverly concealed beneath the tabletop, and the black lacquered metal frame. Please note a small chip in one of the corners (see photos). Length with extensions: 220 cm (seating 8 to 10). Depth: 68 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
