19thc "Clean Water" Staffordshire Figure

Unusual Staffordshire figure with two children and a water pitcher. This figure is in celebration of the arrival of clean water following the "Great Stink" and Public Health Act of 1848. It is one of a few selected examples on Wikipedia's Staffordshire information page. As with most early Staffordshire, there is no maker's mark.
