A pair of British Colonial hand-painted dogs from India - they are extremely alike, although not exact. These two seated dogs are charming as they sit sweetly and patiently. There are hand written numbers on the bottom of these terracotta dogs made from a mold. They are painted with a dark wine color at bottom, and display saffron collars. The negative space at the bottom is painted with black. The chippy paint adds interest and gives the feeling of this pair's age.
