A Chinese Tang Dynasty terracotta warrior circa 600-800 AD with unusual straw glaze. Created in China during the Tang Dynasty, this terracotta warrior draws our attention with its ornate clothes and traces of original pigments. Stern and focused, the warrior is wearing a long headdress falling on his shoulders while his chest plate is adorned with beaded medallions. Boasting a nicely weathered patina with mineral deposits, the lower section shows traces of an orange pigmentation.
