Mid Century Modern style Pair of Birds inspired by the wooden birds of Danish designer Jacob Hermann. The birds are sculpted from solid Mahogany hardwood, the eyes are inlaid Walnut hardwood and the feet are solid brass. Each bird has been sanded to a very fine finish and sealed with Danish oil. The pictures of the "Pair" featured in this listing are of a previous pair. Each pair is hatched (sculpted) after the last flock has flown the coop (studio) so the wood grain may vary slight from the photos in the listing.
