Large Chinese finely shaded polychrome glazed porcelain mountain throne seated Kuan Yin, sitting in the Lotus position on a rocky mountain outcrop, attended by a bright red four-clawed dragon, her right and left hand in Karana mudra, her right hand also holding an alms bowl, clothed in flowing hooded robes of ornate floral embellishment and a phoenix over a colorful striped tunic and a necklace, endowed with the ushnisha, wisdom eye and long earlobes. Exquisite finely sculpted realistic detail through out, down to the fingernails. A Bolingdi seal mark is mounted just above the rear of the base. Displayed on the included, finely carved, traditional Chinese hongmu kang table. Circa early 20th century, no later than mid century.
