Natural fibers and sturdy cedar wood pieces are the central elements of a precious figurine crafted in Colombia by Angelica Chiles. After hand-carving the bird-themed design, the artisan decorates her artwork using a traditional technique that consists of making a veneer with dried wheat and barley stalks painted in green, creating a magical illusion around the item.
