Lividly carved in solid oak, this continental religious figure depicts a saint or santo with his hands extending out. The carving is of very high quality and extremely detailed in the draped robe knotted at the waist and his serene facial expression. The statue is likely from Northeast Alsace region of France or Lower Rhine region of Germany, circa 18th century.
