A substantial mid-18th-century French soft-paste porcelain figure group in the chinoiserie style associated with early Vincennes and Sèvres. The composition features two European ladies and two Chinese attendants positioned beside a scalloped jardinière, the scene unified by rococo scrollwork and expressive modelling typical of the period. The glaze has the slightly creamy translucency characteristic of early soft-paste, giving the group a warm, sculptural presence well suited to mantel or console display. A decorative and atmospheric work with strong interior appeal.
