The minimalist design recreates the familiar shape with only the essential forms and details. Each Maharam Bear is made from Italian vegetable tanned nubuck leather with a matte finish achieved with a sanding technique, and a recycled polyester filling. Cut and then sewn, filled and assembled by hand, these bears are beautifully crafted to become not only cherished toys or design objects, but family heirlooms.
