The vintage "Ancient Palace Princess," painted in the traitional style of the "Wucai"-(five color). Made in Shiwan, China in the 1940's out of fine Shiwan porcelain, these figurines are generally hand crafted. During the crafting process, bracelets are put on the delicate arms of the figurine that move independently. This is very rare example of a piece to see because the umbrella hands, bracelets and feet are intact. The dimensions of this piece are 9" tall by 7.5" wide by 6" deep. It is fun to watch the bracelets move freely. I found this unique piece at an antique store in Portland, OR.
