Large wooden filing cabinet originating from a shop in Tokyo, dated late Meiji period. This tansu features a total of fifteen drawers and a storage space with sliding doors. Some of the drawers still bear old labels from the store. The piece is finished with metal handles and lock plates (without a key), and there are metal handles on the sides for transporting the cabinet. An authentic and decorative furniture piece, full of history, very practical for storing small work/hobby materials. Dimensions: height 110 cm, width 119 cm, depth 51 cm. This piece shows signs of aging and has been thoroughly treated and inspected.
