A well drawn and superb quality english regency fireplace in italian bardiglio marble. The paneled console jambs with anthemion carving to front and scrolled anthemion carving to sides, supported on substantial foot blocks and capped with square end blocks. A slim simple frieze, with reeded under moulding and conforming reeded mouldings to the in grounds framing the inverted interior slips. All beneath a generous lipped and stepped shelf.
