Antique, mid to late 19th century Federal style painted mantel. This elegant mantel has a classic design featuring narrow pilaster jambs with fielded panels, raised on block feet. The ample frieze has elliptical panels at the corner blocks and a central tablet which repeats the ellipses motif. The cornice mantel shelf has a breakfront design. Opening dimensions:W:50" x H:37.2".
