The Simone: A Classically-Inspired Stone Fireplace With Carved Leaf Detail

The classically-inspired Simone Fireplace, from our Elizabeth Scott Collection, features several traditional elements. The shelf piece, with its multi-layered molding, flares out generously from the main body of the fireplace. Immediately below the shelf piece and surrounding the opening are linear sections with layered molding creating recessed panels. The outer sections of the legs are straight sections, ending in classically-styled plinths with a soft ogee detail and additional steps. The legs are topped with a carved leaf detail on either side of the lintel piece, giving the fireplace an added elegant carved element. This fireplace is made-to-order, in either marble or limestone. Custom sizes are available. It would look lovely, in a traditional Primary Bedroom, Living Room, Great Room or Study.
