Our stunning Katerina Floor Clock is a replica of an antique Gustavian Mora Clock we bought in the south of France. A type of longcase clock, the name comes from the Swedish town of Mora where the clocks were made beginning in the late 1800s. Ours is crafted in Italy of hardwood with oversized bead details just like original, and hand finished in a meticulous multi-layered process. Each clockface is individually hand painted by a single artisan. Part of our exclusive Casa Florentina collection, the finishes are hand applied by Italian artisans using the same simple tools and techniques employed by Florentine artists for centuries.
