Place this elegant antique floor lamp beside a reading chair, in a study, or anchoring a living room corner. Crafted in France circa 1920, the tall sculptural form is built in solid walnut and features a classic Louis XIII–inspired barley twist column rising from a richly carved circular base. The base is decorated with bold acanthus and foliate motifs, giving the piece strong architectural presence and visual weight. At midpoint, the lamp incorporates a convenient circular table, finished in a slightly lighter tone and encircled with a carved gadroon edge, offering both function and decorative contrast. The turned and carved elements continue through the standard, showcasing fine craftsmanship and balanced proportions throughout. The fixture is topped with a candle-form stem fitted with double sockets and patinated brass hardware, and has been newly rewired for modern use.
