Oscar Bach was a German-born artist who moved to New York in 1911. These lamps were most popular in the 1920's and 1930's and are highly collectible today. They were made-in-USA and are known for their intricate, decorative metalwork which he crafted from bronze, wrought iron, and nickel-plated metals. This distinctive lamp is nickel-plated bronze and has a bright silver finish. Underneath the base is the authentic Oscar Bach signature metal stamp (see photo.) Lamp uses 250 Watt / 250 volt bulbs (see photo.)
