This is an AMAZING porcelain floor lamp in the Capodimonte/Meissen/European style. I'm not sure if it's French or Italian, but the designer who previously owned the lamp was a collector of fine French antiques. I believe it is from the late 19th century, with a newer, custom shade. The base and rod of the lamp are made of porcelain, hand-painted with 24k gold details and porcelain flowers. There is fluting and a leaf feature circling the lamp rod, along with gold metal details. The very bottom of the lamp is coated in silver leaf and has some minor wear, to be expected with age. Lastly, there is a striking pierced metal finial at the top - like the cherry on the cake! No detail has been neglected! The colors are soft and beautiful! The lamp shade is 14”h. The lamp base is 11” in diameter. Measurements below are for the lamp as a whole. Thank you!
