This is the largest and rarest version if the iconic Bamboo Floor Lamp that Franco Albini designed for Vivai del Sud, an Italian firm well known for luxury garden furniture. The tall lamp has two lights, one illuminating the top and the other the bottom section with an EU plug. There is a canvas sleeve that covers the lightbulbs creating a soft subdued warm light. The sleeve is in 3 sections. Working perfectly with the bamboo in an excellent condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
