Stilux floor Lamp in chrome. 16 lights. Milano, Italy, 1960s. This is a really lovely piece. The lamp dates from the early 1960s. The light has eight individual movable branches. These do not full rotate and have a stopping mechanism (so the internal wire cannot break). The stem and branches are finished in brushed aluminium. In total there are 16 bulbs. The switch allows either 8 of the bulbs to be lit or all 16. The lamp is heavy and will not fall over easily. As the photos show, the base presents some little signs of time. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, Up to 250V (Europe/UK Standard). The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
