Circa 1810 Regency bedpost now as a floor lamp, English. Made into a torchiere in the Victorian era by adding shell carved ball & claw legs and now converted to a floor lamp. Mahogany. Water leaf carving descends to the boldly turned, reeded shaft above a reeded urn. Water leaves accent the shaft base. Superb carving on the Georgian revival base. 68" h. to finial tip. 25" dia. on floor, 59" h. to socket top.
