Dorienne takes its name from the classical Greek architectural style. It is a metaphor about the renaissance: the Renaissance after the medieval period; the sun rising on the horizon, the light after the darkness. These lamps draw their strength from the opposition between the firmness of their shapes and the lightness of their radiant aura, between the classicism of their lines and the innovation of their light diffuser.
