Two light emissions for this floor lamp: one indirect and diffused and the other one indirect and reflected, both adjustable in their intensity. The adjustment allows an innumerable variety of lights, from the most intimate to the most general and widespread, to the most scenic, giving pleasant and surprising sensations and emotions.As a loved one, an everyday object must be able to reassure and inspire us, it must be simple, unobtrusive, and yet contain harmonic resonances to be discovered in time : the time of its life with us.This scenic floor lamp reminds the "House of Cards" game we were playing when we were kids.The structure is made of steel varnished in Champagne/White color. There are 2 dimmer touches on the base, one for the light at the top and one for the light at the sides of the lamp. The wire is covered with black tissue.Cino Zucchi earned a B.S.A.D at the Massachussets Institute of Technology and a Laurea in Architettura at the Politecnico in Milan where he is currently Chair Professor of Architectural and Urban Design.
