The simple and ingenious mechanism connecting the head to the base allows the light beam to be directed in different directions by moving the shade up, down, and to the side. The structure consists of a white metal base with a semicircular plinth that allows the lamp to be placed against a wall. The chrome-plated metal arc is height-adjustable and can rotate 180° to illuminate the desired area. The position is fixed using a handle on the back of the base. The lampshade is made of lacquered aluminum in a hemispherical shape with a slit on the upper side that allows a soft beam of light to escape. The switch is directly accessible on the lampshade.
