This piece is the Floor Lamp No. 1 - Fluentum Series.The lamp is made by bending strips of ash wood, which is then sculpted to give details to the piece in order to maintain a harmonious design language throughout the piece. The lampshade is also made using strips of ash wood. The Fluentum Series features minimal designs which helps focus on the craft and the detail each piece carries. The Floor Lamp No. 1 encapsulates this design ethos perfectly. The depicted piece carries a high gloss lacquered coating; exposing its grains with a well polished Cocoa finish.The Studio has taken its exploration of wood further with the Fluentum Series. This Series uses techniques and skills learnt over the years to create works that embody details which are unique to the Studio's design esthetic and the craft of bending wood.
