This is the Floor Lamp No. 2 from the Fluentum Series. A collaboration between the Studio and Hamza Khan Sherwani, a Pakistan based artist.The piece is an arc lamp which has been presented as an abstraction of a vine plant. Thin strips of wood have been bent together to create an organic form which houses the light; the light escapes from between the strips creating a mesmerising effect. A minimally designed piece, finished using vibrant acrylics. The Studio has taken its exploration of wood further with the Fluentum Series. This Series uses techniques and skills learnt over the years to create works that embody details which are unique to the Studio's design esthetic and the craft of bending wood. These techniques allow the natural flow of the wood to take the reins of design; therefore, no two pieces are exactly the same, making each piece unique.Other points worth knowing:- The design may vary slightly from the piece in the pictures since each piece is handmade.- You can choose from an array of finishes.- The dimensions of the piece are customizable.
